How does My Safety Buddy work?
The app sends out rapid alerts for emergency situations in order to activate effective and timely help responses. The user can choose to have alerts sent automatically if they miss a check in, or if they become incapacitated. With a simple shake of the phone, My Safety Buddy’s duress alarm is activated.
The web portal provides a simple to use platform to manage your users and to assist you to effectively respond to emergency situations.
When My Safety Buddy is active, the user’s wellbeing is continuously monitored.

Activate the Duress Alarm (Panic Alarm) by simply shaking the phone. Optional setting for automatic recording of video that is sent to your Emergency Contacts.
To avoid false alarms you can adjust the activation shake sensitivity and you have an opportunity to cancel the alarm too.

If My Safety Buddy does not detect any movement during a customisable period (the default is 10 minutes) then My Safety Buddy will ask if you are OK.
If you do not respond, My Safety Buddy will raise the Man Down Alarm (Incapacitated Person Alarm) for you.
