About the role

Our facilitators travel to client locations to educate, encourage and inspire their staff to enhance their personal safety and wellbeing predominantly through the delivery of our one day and half day M.A.B.TM staff safety training programs.

M.A.B.TM staff safety training is Contextualised Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behaviours TM.

Duties and Responsibilities

The main duties and responsibilities of the role are:

  • Deliver HT training programs around Australia
  • Engage with, educate, encourage and inspire our clients
  • Identify and recommend areas for improvement
  • Keep your availability and scheduled training calendar updated
  • Assist with the administration of training packages

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this role you need:


  • An enthusiastic and self-motivated ‘all-rounder’
  • Effective communication skills comprising excellent spoken and written English for conversing in person.
  • Adaptable, with ability to learn quickly and work independently
  • Excellent organisational and logistical skills with outstanding attention to detail
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE).
  • Demonstrated competency to deliver workplace training in a manner that engages the participants
  • Demonstrated competency with computers including intermediate MS PowerPoint
  • Current Victorian driver licence (or have own alternate transport arrangements).
  • Ability to manage workload from a number of sources with differing priorities


  • Two or more years’ experience in a similar role in a corporate environment.
  • Experience developing and/or updating training programs is desirable
  • Police or military experience.
  • Security Adviser Registration.
  • Touch type to a minimum of 20 words per minute.
  • Intermediate computer skills including intermediate MS Outlook and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Senior first aid.

Our firm is based in Cheltenham VIC.  Training is delivered at client locations Australia wide though primarily in Melbourne, regional Victoria, Sydney, and Adelaide.

This position is offered as a sub-contracted role requiring approximately 50 days per year with the scope for days to increase significantly.
